Details of the Autumn UK trip - Please read

Below is a summary of the UK tour details for this October 27th-31st (Höstlovet). We need confirmation of participation and a deposit from players before June 23rd. Dear Parents

The UK tour is starting to take shape, what we need now is to get everyone onboard and secure accommodation etc. This is what the trip will look like:

All the players and families will fly to London on Friday the 27^th October where they will be picked up at the airport and driven to our accommodation (likely a hotel) in the Worthing/Chichester area.

We will then be playing matches on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We are still working on sightseeing and other activities. The P14 team will play against teams from Worthing and Chichester and we are still working on arranging a tournament for Monday.

We leave for home on Tuesday the 31^st October.

Costs

We estimate that the cost per player, excluding flights will be roughly 3000 kr. This includes accommodation, transfer to and from the airport and meals.

From the team’s fundraising efforts, we know we can contribute at least 1000 kr per player towards their costs. As we raise more money we aim to further reduce the cost for the players as much as possible.

• To secure accommodation and transport we will need a deposit of 1000kr per player by 2016-06-23 at the latest. Payment to Filip Schönbeck to Swish number 070 555 4052. Please include the player’s name in the swish.
  
  
• If you can also confirm parents/family members that will accompany players, please also let us know by the 23^rd June. Let us know if you will need accommodation and/or transport to and from the airport.
  
  
• All players and families are required to book their own flight tickets. Gatwick is closest to Worthing but Heathrow is also ok. We prefer that you book the following flights as pick-up will be available after these flights on Friday and then in time for the departure on Tuesday :

Recommended Flights between Stockholm and London

Leaving 27^th October on Norwegian (D82857) from Arlanda at 17:40 arriving 19:15 into London Gatwick, returning on Tuesday 31^st Norwegian (D82858) at 17:00 from Gatwick, arriving into Arlanda at 20:20 (cost about 1800 kr return)

A slightly less expensive option to and from London Heathrow is:

Leaving 27^th October on British Airways (BA 781) at 18:05 arriving 19:50 into London Heathrow and then returning on the 31^st on BA782 at 15:55 arriving back into Arlanda at 19:25 (cost about 1650 kr return)

We are aiming to have transport organized from the airport to the hotel at these times on Friday and then back to the airport to meet these flights on Tuesday.

• You can of course arrange different flights and your own transport to the accommodation, just let us know what you intend to do.
  
  
• We are also looking in to the tour kit (jersey etc) as earlier designed by Jason, more info to come on this.

We believe this will be an awesome tour and a great way to end the P14 year after all the hard work the players and parents have put in.
